Problems & solutions

  1. 01

    The problem

One of the biggest challenges was time constraints. We had to design and build an interactive, visually appealing, and functional platform within a tight deadline. Additionally,

since the hackathon was fully online, the website had to provide a seamless and fun experience that kept participants engaged alongside the Discord server.

03 · Process

Research & Planning

Understanding the needs of hackathon participants was crucial. We analyzed competitor hackathon platforms and gathered insights on what makes an online hackathon engaging.

04 · Process

Wireframing & Prototyping

Given the time constraints, I quickly sketched wireframes and developed high-fidelity prototypes in Figma. The focus was on a playful yet intuitive interface, ensuring smooth navigation across all pages.

05 · Process

Visual Design & Branding

The design style embraced a fun and creative approach, inspired by Figma’s playful aesthetics. Bright colors, interactive elements, and engaging animations created a vibrant and energetic experience for users.

06 · Process

Development Handoff & Iterations

Once the design was finalized, I collaborated with developers to ensure an accurate implementation. We made real-time improvements based on user feedback from early testers.
